The objective of the Microgrant for Technology or Equipment is to provide funding support to nonprofit organizations and small businesses to purchase critical hardware, software, and machinery assets to grow their business. Little Bahamas Spoons LLC featuring the Taste of Coco-Bahamas, is an outdoor Entertainment, and food venue that works with the community to preserve the local cultural nuances and Bahamian local history with food vendors, cultural art, and cross-cultural music entertainment all under one venue. Las Villas Marble & Granite Corp is a construction company that specializes in remodeling counter tops in kitchens and bathooms since 2013. Sky Team Construction Inc. is a company of general contractors who work in low-income and historically disproportioned communities that employ individuals without experience and teach them the basics of electrical, plumbing, and AC knowledge to empower them and help them become economically independent. OFB microgrant funds will be used to build a web page to build brand awareness and reach new customers. Software and hardware, such as computers, printers, and tablets, are vital to running a business and are also needed.

Jewel Learning, LLC is committed to helping children and their families reach new heights in education through personalized tutoring, academic consultation, or IEP compliance solutions to empower their academic journey. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire laptops, iPads, microphones, editing software, camera/video recorder, wireless keyboard/mouse, monitors, Cricut machine, and noise canceling eqiupment that will allow them to expand into the curriculum market and reach additional customers across the community and the nation.

Kingdom Academy III is a diverse school that offers preschool education, afterschool programs, drop-in days, and summer camp services to elementary students in the community, in additional to students with special needs. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire tablets, headphones, educational software, laptops, interactive boards, a printer, and a classroom audio system to teach children how to appropriately use technology while creating an interactive learning environment.

LCT-E Learning Solutions® is an education consultancy dedicated to leveling the playing field in education by helping teachers teach effectively, maintain their well-being, and empowering them to engage all students, especially those from diverse backgrounds. OFB microgrant funding will be used to establish a visual and audio podcast and update their website. Panther Xtreme provides championship training to developing cheerleaders to build a complete and confident student-athlete that has character and cares for the community. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire technological equipment for a computer lab to support the student-athletes with tutoring, homework assistance, college readiness, and computer literacy.

Saint Phil Capital LLC is a daycare providing high-quality education to children in low-income areas in Miami. OFB microgrant funding will be used to renovate the facade of the building, computers, TV’s, monitors and a new HVAC system.

Acuworks has been dedicated to offering accessible healthcare solutions, including alternative and complementary services, to individuals within underserved communities. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire advanced technology, such as devices for patient records, scheduling, telehealth services, and software, to enhance administrative efficiency, communication, and data security.

Breakthrough Care and Resource Center, Inc.

Breakthrough Care and Resource Center, Inc. is a minority-owned mental health group practice addressing the critical need for quality behavioral health care in underrepresented and vulnerable communities. OFB microgrant funding will be used to provide participants with resources such as workbooks and digital tools for their e-learning platform. They will invest in high-quality video conferencing equipment and specialized software to provide mental health support for BIPOC women and other vulnerable groups in the community.

First Prevention & Dialysis Correction, LLC

First Prevention and Dialysis Correctional LLC is a dialysis center specializing in the delivery of high quality chronic and acute dialysis service with personalized dialysis treatments in a comfortable and supportive environment. OFB microgrant funding will be used to procure essential medical equipment; dialysis machines and technological assets which are pivotal in expanding treatment capacity.

Fit Life Pediatric Consultants is a private practice that focuses on individualized and quality healthcare, education, guidance for all children and young adults from the ages of 0-21, while specializing in newborn visits, well child exams, sick visits, sports physicals, weight and wellness visits, immunizations, prenatal consultations, and pre-operative clearance exams. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire hearing and vision screening equipment to detect impairments in young children, and to complement their existing therapy services.

OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire essential equipment and renovations to improve their home healthcare services. Advanced Healthcare Management software and medical equipment  will allow for high-quality, on-site care.

Morningside Physical Therapy, LLC

Morningside Physical Therapy specializes in managing dizziness and balance disorders, in addition to pelvic health and wellness services, with unique technology. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire new equipment and technology that will expand their available services and improve their client experience and treatments.

Optimal Living Center is a health care service that exists to motivate and inspire individuals to reach their maximum potential by having healthy relationships, mental wellness, emotional balance, physical well-being, and financial freedom. Premier Athletic Rehab Center (PARC) is a physical therapy and wellness center that provides a conducive environment for healing, injury prevention, and pain relief through their custom treatment plans with trained therapists. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire infrared equipment and technology to improve their physical therapy center and their patients’ treatment plans.

Providence Medical Center Inc.

Providence Medical Center is a medical practice that helps low-income families and individuals that do not have medical insurance by providing medical checkups, non-critical or emergency services, and lab work at low and flat rates. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire a new EKG machine, a new computer system, and touch screen monitor to improve patient cardiac services, office efficiency, and the management of patients’ medical records.

Rosaire’s Quality Care Inc. is a dedicated home health care agency that specializes in providing compassionate, high-quality care to minorities and underserved communities. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire assets to improve patient care and significantly enhance the scope and quality of their services.

Sleep & Cradle® Solutions is a service business that focuses on enhancing postpartum mental health by pioneering education for expectant parents and personalized sleep support for new families for a healthier and happier family unit. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquire technology infrastructure and application development through advanced computing equipment for our consultants and a robust certification program.

Upright Spine Center LLC is a Health Care & Social Assistance business that offers specialized chiropractic care to treat personal injuries, and musculoskeletal pain involving bones, joints, nerves, and muscles. OFB microgrant funding will be used to acquirea leander table and a medray quad laser to provide high-quality care and attract more patients.

Verrett Dental Center is a private dental clinic servicing the Liberty City community with a focus on providing patients with high quality dental services with affordable prices. OFB microgrant funding will be used to update and add new equipment for their patients and achive a faster turn-around time for dental prosthetics.  A 3D scanner and 3D printer will help them create prosthetics in a fraction of the time rather than using a traditional lab which takes 2 weeks to a month and tends to be inaccurate.

Dr. GoodPrice makes healthcare affordable and accessible to everyone in their one-stop-shop clinic and pharmacy where they offer walk-in medical services, lab tests, and medications at a low cost without requiring medical insurance. Osmotex is a Miami Dade-based textile recycling company that can process up to 2 million lbs of waste annually, and has a vision to prevent second-hand clothing and textile waste from entering landfills by transforming them into new materials.
